Biography

Sarah Kinn is an abstract painter in Boulder, CO whose body of work expresses an acute sense of color. Bold, vibrant colors inspired by Ikat fabric, women’s saris from India, and natural beauty typify her paintings. Some compositions are loosely influenced by Colorado’s landscapes while others may reflect a particular technique, genre, or arrangement of color combinations.

Her work has been exhibited in many Boulder galleries, the Longmont Firehouse Gallery, aBuzz Gallery in Denver, and the Denver Art Museum textile exhibit. The Children’s Hospital and Keys Commercial are among the many private collectors with Sarah Kinn’s artwork. She is a self-taught painter who has a degree in Art History from Miami University.
